Lifting the stem to give the tool a up force, upper damping mechanism structure moving with it, after the oil get enough pressure, then reach a predetermined stroke, it may produce a upper force to release the drill stem.
Compared with upper jarring working principle, it is quite different to release the drill stem to produce the pressure, the ways to store the energy are the same as up jarring, finally we will get a downward jarring force to release the sticking tools in the down hole.
